Q Overview
Turnqey Crypto Intelligence is a Custom GPT for ChatGPT that connects to the Turnqey Asset Intelligence Platform (TAIP) API. Instead of navigating dashboards, ask questions like “Show me Ali’s holdings” or “What are Ali’s tax-loss harvesting opportunities?” and get instant answers with real portfolio data. It supports client lookups, holdings, cost basis, tax reports, performance metrics, and more.

Custom GPTs require a ChatGPT Plus, Team, or Enterprise subscription. The free plan does not support GPTs with Actions.

Q Getting Started
Setup Steps
Follow these 3 steps to start using Turnqey Crypto Intelligence.

Open the Custom GPT
  • Log in to chatgpt.com with your ChatGPT Plus or Team account
  • Click the direct link shared by your administrator to open Turnqey Crypto Intelligence

Sign In to TAIP
  • Type any question, such as “Show me my clients”
  • The GPT will prompt you to Sign in with api.taip.app
  • Click the sign-in button — the TAIP login page will open
  • Enter your TAIP email and password
  • If you have 2FA enabled, enter the verification code
  • Click Authorize to grant read-only access
  • You will be redirected back to ChatGPT automatically
  • Note: Use client names exactly as they appear in TAIP. Ask “Show me my clients” first to see exact names.

Start Asking Questions
  • The GPT will now fetch your data and answer your question
  • Continue asking follow-up questions in the same conversation
  • The GPT remembers context within a conversation — e.g., “Now show me her tax report for 2025”
  • Your session stays active for 1 hour. If the token expires mid-conversation, the GPT will automatically prompt you to sign in again — just click the sign-in button and you can continue where you left off
How you know it worked
After signing in, ChatGPT will show “Talked to api.taip.app” and display your data. You only need to sign in once per session — the token stays active for 1 hour.

Q Troubleshooting
Common Issues
If something isn’t working, check these common fixes before reaching out to support.
QSign-in button not working
Make sure pop-ups are allowed for chatgpt.com in your browser settings. Click the lock icon in the address bar → Site settings → Pop-ups → Allow. Then reload and try again.
Q“Something went wrong” after signing in
Your session may have expired. Start a new conversation with the GPT and try again. The sign-in flow will re-trigger automatically.
QGPT says it can’t find a client
Use the client’s full name as it appears in TAIP. Try asking “Show me my clients” first to see exact names, then reference the client by their full display name.
QResponse is too large or times out
For clients with many transactions, try narrowing your request. Instead of “all transactions”, ask for a specific asset or date range. The GPT will paginate large responses automatically.
QGPT not available or “404”
Make sure you have a ChatGPT Plus, Team, or Enterprise subscription. Custom GPTs with Actions are not available on the free plan. Also verify you’re using the correct GPT link shared by your admin.

OAuth 2.0
Industry-standard secure login. Your credentials are only entered on the TAIP login page — never stored by ChatGPT or the GPT.

No Password Storage
ChatGPT never sees your password. Authentication is handled entirely by Turnqey’s OAuth server at api.taip.app.

Read-Only Access
All 11 API actions are strictly read-only. The GPT cannot modify, delete, or write any portfolio data.

1-Hour Tokens
Access tokens expire after 1 hour. You can revoke access anytime from your TAIP account settings.

Azure Infrastructure
All data stays on TAIP’s secure Azure servers. Data flows directly from TAIP API to your ChatGPT session.

No Data Retention
Turnqey does not store or log data retrieved through this GPT beyond standard API request logs.
